APL Construction has secured a further project award from Caledonia Water Alliance, with works now underway in Stirling.
The scheme includes the construction of a new Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) and a section of very deep drainage. The project presents several technical challenges, including the potential presence of methane gas and excavation at low pipe levels adjacent to the river, where water levels remain consistently high, particularly during the winter period.
Extensive planning and control measures have been implemented to manage ground conditions, groundwater, and environmental risks while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
Site establishment is complete, and our team is fully focused on delivering the works safely, carefully, and to the high standard APL Construction is known for. Further updates will follow as the project progresses.
