Scottish Water SWiPE Training Session at APL Construction

APL Construction recently welcomed Phil Boylan from Scottish Water to our office to deliver an informative training session on the SWiPE reporting system and its role in supporting successful project delivery across the Scottish Water framework.

The session focused on the importance of accurately recording changes to planned activities, including delays, material deliveries, unforeseen site conditions, weather impacts, and other factors that can influence project progress. Effective SWiPE reporting provides valuable information that helps identify trends, improve planning, and enhance collaboration across the supply chain.

Phil also presented feedback and data from previous SWiPE submissions, demonstrating how contractor reports are used to support continuous improvement and drive better outcomes across framework projects.

The session provided our team with a valuable opportunity to further develop their understanding of the system and reinforce the importance of accurate reporting in maintaining efficient project delivery.

We would like to thank Phil Boylan and Scottish Water for taking the time to visit our office and share their knowledge with the APL team.
